Summerfest

Event runs from 4 - 9 P.M.

Fisherman's Breakfast

Motorists traveling up old U.S. Highway 191 through St. Anthony were invited to have free coffee and donuts at any of the local cafes. The date was June 3, the day before the opening of fishing season in 1955.

The St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce picked up the tab for that first-ever Free Fisherman’s Breakfast.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge Street bridge since that beginning, all of it through Clyde Keefer Memorial Park where the breakfast has been held most of the years since then.
